Camping in a parking lot: the reality

If you have ever spent the night in your RV in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club or other big box store, then you probably know the routine -- pull in, blend in, do a little shopping (optional), then hop in bed for a good night's sleep. In this five minute video, watch a firetruck roll down suburban streets. See the huge plume of black smoke to the right and then watch as the firetruck arrives on the scene, where the RV is totally engulfed in flames. The camera is then positioned inside the vehicle's front window. Watch as the firemen approach with their hoses, and then begin attacking the flames. This video vividly illustrates how easily an RV can burn up.

Tennis balls, then softballs and then hardballs are fired at each RV's surface at increasing speeds. One wall survives, the other destructs with frightening ease. Which wall survives when a hardball is pitched at it at major league velocity? Watch the video.
